Like you can see it on my article, I dont recommand Json over Pickle any time but for specific issues.

To go deeply:

- Have you already saved models using pickle in production?

- Have you shared these models with other teams?

The first think that any company will recommand is to avoid pickle as possible for the reasons that I explain but if you want just save models for your personnal use it's a good solution as I said on my article.
